When your Generational STEAM club grows by 10 students & the robots grow too! @Sphero minis to RVR was a big physical change but they were up for the 'intimidating' challenge! Coding isn't as scary anymore when using block coding & working together! ๐ค @BaysideMSVBCPS

When you do a lesson & get "I'm proud of my design, can you take a picture?" ABSOLUTELY. I love that we built an environment where they're willing to take risks with me & then show off their designs to classmates & adults! Thanks to our ITS for an amazing lesson! @BaysideMSVBCPS

This month's @AdobeExpress creative challenge was so unique and fun - the students loved using the gallery feature to see what everyone created! Plus they snuck in the create your own gradient coloring - we were in heaven here! #AdobeEduCreative

Thanks to @NauticusNorfolk for coming in to our REECH STEAM club! Students had such a good time learning about & creating boats to master the challenge - all the adults were impressed! @BaysideMSVBCPS

This week we used @ThingLink_EDU to create quizzes on different US states (besides VA). So fun watching them test each other's knowledge!
*this was after I schooled them in naming the states in alpha order - thanks Hanover ES @BethlehemAreaSD for the fifty nifty song years ago๐บ๐ธ

Nothing like reading Steam Power by @timneedles & his chapter on upcycling right as your Ss finish their robot projects!
If you haven't read this book, run & get it! I'm 50 pages in & WOW it's incredible - his insights and ideas are amazing! Can't wait to create even more!

Love this month's @AdobeForEdu challenge - community quilt squares! Students had a blast shaping their patch with AI and then I turned them into stickers for the students to enjoy using the Cricut #AdobeEduCreative

Nothing like ending the week with a virtual field trip using @ClassVR ! Loved taking the students around the world to new places - so many good conversations had (& a few laughs from me when showing places they've never been to & hearing their goofy reactions ๐) @BaysideMSVBCPS
