The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.

He’s 100% right.I heard nothing but complete truth here. looks like an American Revolution, made in China! American government works for billionaires and wars while the Chinese government work for their people …that’s the difference.

• CLUB STATEMENT followed with press release• Pershore Town Football Club can confirm that manager Danny Janes will leave the club at the end of the season. Janes, who is the club's most successful manager, made the decision last week that he will step down from his managerial duties. Janes won five trophies in an 18 month spell at the helm, securing promotion to Step 5 and winning four cup competitions along the way. Janes agreed to return to the club for a second spell in charge after a year out from the game and has guided the club to its highest ever finish at Step 5 this season. "I leave Pershore Town Football Club with a heavy heart but it is the right decision for me personally. I am expecting my first child at the end of August, with Teaching and Coaching commitments alongside managing a Football Team, my life and schedule now looks very different. "I signed a two year contract with the club and we agreed conditions for those two years. Those conditions have had to change for next season, a decision I completely understand. However, the project now looks very different and is one that I feel is a backwards step for myself with regards to my own journey. "We have had an up and down season but one that has shown progress. The club has had two successful seasons at Step 5, finishing 11th under Lewis which was the club's highest finish at the level. The club has then pushed on again this season by finishing what looks like will be 8th place, being very close to the Play-Offs. Our finishing position does not reflect the targets I had or the vision we set out as a management team, but in terms of where the club are it is a good season in that respect. Based on the start we had, the changes we had to make and the teams we had to chase, the players have been brilliant in turning the season around. We had a great chance to really push the Play-Offs but a couple of results really hurt us, the inconsistencies showed in those games have been apparent this season and we did not deserve to finish any higher than we have. "I want like to thank my staff for all of their work this season. Tom is unbelievable not just in what he brings but as a person, he has been by my side throughout our journey together at Pershore and we have created history at the club, without him that would not have been possible. James Carter and Abi came in this season and I really hope I can work with them again in the future, I hope the players realise how lucky they are to have staff around them who do everything they can to get the best out of players. Thank you to CJ and James Rushton for their efforts this season also in supporting the team. "I will oversee the team for the Hartpury game as we look to end the journey with a Cup Final appearance. We then have our presentation night to look forward to and Steve Webb's testimonial. Thank you to everyone at Pershore behind the scenes, from the Junior Managers, the Committee Members and the fantastic Fans. I will always be a supporter of the club and I look forward to seeing the club continue to progress."

🧮 | @DannyJanes1' side welcome @CorshamTownFC to the @Recruit12 Community Stadium tomorrow for a @HellenicLeague fixture on @NonLeagueDayUK. It's another side The Plums have never beaten on the three occasions the teams have met and tomorrow is sure to be another tough task!

Nothing worse than not being able to do anything because you have to keep scrolling down to see if @PTFC88 have scored again! That’s my excuse anyway!
*GOAL* | @longlevensafc 1 - 4 Pershore Town - Fuller delivers a corner which is put back out to him, he steps past his man, finds Price who's shot is saved but Donnelly is there to head home from close range.
