How cool is this? Ms. Bragg’s business class at Reynoldsburg High School - Livingston Campus hosted a virtual session with former NFL players who talked about “What it takes to be a pro.” Students gained valuable insights about discipline and leadership. #REYNProud

I ran from Joseph Leonard’s plantation in July 1806 with only the clothes on my back. I had been hired out to him by Rev. Edward Gantt, who had been the chaplain to the US Senate recently, and was preparing to move to Kentucky. I hoped to find help to hide. I was called SAM.
I ran from Francis Lightfoot Lee in April 1813. Lee, the son of a Founding Father, had taken over the Sully Plantation in 1811 and had been buying enslaved people to work on it. I hoped to reach my free father Nat Burwell in Alexandria for help. My name was WILLIAM BURWELL.
