Did you know there’s an art museum on the campus of the National Treasure? 🎨
The James E. Lewis Museum of Art (JELMA), located in the Murphy Fine Arts Center, is named after James E. Lewis, the former chairperson of the Morgan State University Art Department.
The museum enhances the scholastic experience of the University’s student population and expands the community’s exposure to works of art through exhibitions, publications, and more.
Hear more from Schroeder Cherry, Ed.D., Curator of JELMA, about the museum and what it offers.
