Everyone is so shocked by the events in this series. Those of us who are older arenโt surprised at all. This is reality for many families: cheating husbands, secret families, emotionally exhausted wivesโฆ Hooowu! Itโs often less about love and more about power, ego, convenience, or experience. Sadly, women still think that love will change these men.

The way South African black society is so negative towards a black man. The polygamist series tried to show us that there are good black men, yet he does not get applauded and much attention like his brother.
