Deeply sad @childrensociety rejected @JustinWelby donation & labelled @churchofengland not consistent with their ethos. Hugely proud of work of safeguarding teams/clergy, and needful improvement made in recent years. This year’s donation from my churches will go to @NSPCC 😢
