We've got our pompoms and megaphones ready to cheer on Team UPS at the National Truck Driving Championships! 📣 The driving championship pulls the best drivers from each state to compete in three categories: written test, pre-trip inspection (how well they look over their vehicle before hitting the road) and a skills test. And, humble brag, 23 of the contestants are representing Team UPS! “This year’s team of UPS drivers represent some of the safest and most professional drivers our company has to offer," said Joanna Cornell, UPS director of global fleet safety. The Carlisle, PA facility opened up “The Simulator” yesterday. Mid-Atlantic President Tandy Bailey was present and recognized the work group for their reduction of incidents year over year. Can’t wait to see the results this group achieves with this additional training tool!
