I’m Stephanie Murphy—and I’m running for Mayor of Orange County, Florida.
I was honored to represent parts of Orange County in Congress. I’m ready to bring my results-driven approach to our community so we can grow smarter, make life more affordable, and build a better future.
Last night's ABC Central Florida and GOBA (@BuildOrlando) Mayoral Town Hall was such an important opportunity to speak about how, as a world class destination, Orange County must also be a world class community for those who live, work and learn here.
Honored to attend the premiere of The King of Trash, the remarkable story of Vietnamese refugee David Duong and his journey from fleeing Vietnam to building a life and a successful business in America.

His story echoes so much of my own family’s experience. Watching it unfold on screen was deeply moving and a powerful reminder of the courage, resilience, and opportunity that define so many refugee journeys.
As our community grows, we need to focus on what matters most: keeping Orange County affordable, livable, and prosperous for the families who call it home.
10 years ago, the Pulse nightclub shooting rocked Orlando and the country; it also inspired me to run for office and fight for real change on gun violence prevention. This article about survivors from that night is a reminder that this fight is not over... cnn.com/2026/06/12/us/pulse-…
Today, I visited the Supervisor of Elections office to qualify as a candidate for Mayor of Orange County.
This marks a key moment in my commitment to serve Orange County and build a more affordable, livable and prosperous future for everyone who lives here.

If we're going to tackle the issue of attainable housing, we need to get more housing on the market. While touring the Legacy Place construction site (being developed into affordable housing for seniors), I learned about new technology that's helping make that possible.
Mayor Demings is a fighter. He has spent his career fighting for Orange County, and I have every confidence he’ll bring that same grit and resilience to this challenge. My prayers are with him and his family.

Honored to be welcomed this week at a Brazilian-American community event that brought together entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, and philanthropists who are helping shape the future of our region.
As Orange County grows, we’ll need that same spirit of collaboration to make our community more affordable, more livable, and more prosperous for everyone who calls it home.
Being a world-class destination means world-class services for the people who live here, & I’m so inspired by the support that vision has earned from every corner of Orange County.
Between now and election day, I’ll continue sharing that vision with as many of you as possible.
When my family fled Vietnam a U.S. Navy ship found us adrift. They stopped to save us & that act of grace changed my life.
The freedoms and opportunities we enjoy today are only possible because of people like those sailors and others who served.
Today we honor them.
With the official start of hurricane season just around the corner, it’s time to ensure you and your family will be safe.
Check out Orange County’s hurricane guide, and keep an eye on the forecast to make sure you’re not caught unprepared.

Potholes and permitting aren’t partisan.
My “why” is my lived experience and love for this country. My “how” is my professional experience.
Thank you to the Log Cabin Republicans for welcoming me to speak at last week’s meeting.
For too long, Bithlo was a place Orange County forgot.
But Bithlo didn't give up. And neither did we. Now, it’s home to UGO’s Transformation Village – a hub of hope, with real opportunity.
As your County Mayor, I'll make sure no community gets left behind.
