why are so many people proposing jim crow laws for steve players all of a sudden
Alright new Steve rule proposal:
If Steve is in a set vs a non Steve, the non Steve player gets an extra stock and the timer is reduced to 5 minutes.
This puts the Steve in a position where they will need to out play their opponents and earn their wins.

I don't agree with posting this, but I think an important takeaway that's being overlooked is that you don't need to spend money to enjoy smash, esp if you are struggling. Meet up with a friend! Play online brackets! Plenty of ways to enjoy a hobby without hurting your wallet

asking for 5k while attending a major and 9 weeklies in the last month alone is insane, would that money not be better spent towards some of the things this gfm is being used for? obviously it doesn’t total anywhere near 5k but still

This is a really disingenuous way of looking at the funding. Liquid being owned by a parent company that has an investment portfolio that includes companies located within Israel is so far removed from "hbox being funded by israel" it's insane

IMO it's not enough to just have people within the community support you. it's just as important to find a way to introduce your normie friends to your hobby in a healthy way, such that they are willing to support you and don't think of it as lame
