Today we remember the 40th anniversary of the Falklands War in which 255 personnel lost their lives
Were it not for the selfless dedication of the AMS many more would have lost their lives
We remember all those in conflicts past who gave their lives in service

While the media is daily filled with news of the current conflict in Ukraine, a new exhibition at the Museum of Military Medicine looks back 40 years at another conflict that similarly dominated the airwaves, following the sudden invasion of the Falkland Islands by Argentina.

We are sad to hear that over the weekend William Earl passed away, he died peacefully on the 11th March aged 106.
In 2017 Liz Coward @LC43 and William came to the museum to give a wonderful talk on William's career in the RAMC.

William captivated the audience from the start with his charm, intelligence and wit. He even inspired some of younger members in attendance who were gripped by his story.
