Iβm so proud of the journey the 3rd graders have been on as they prepared for their music performance. They worked hard to learn the songs, helped develop hand motions, helped with ideas for lyrics, and learned more about performing. βοΈ #MusicWithMissL #ReachForTheStars @ccsd93

I love seeing kids engage with nature! Yes, we took some time in music class to hug trees this week! π³ We also did #ArborDay chants & songs. 4th & 5th graders learned about layering in music and turned Arbor Day poems into musical performances! πΆ #MusicWithMissL2024 @ccsd93

Happy Earth Day! π Students in music classes today participated in various Earth Day songs & instrumental activities. 3rd graders enjoyed going outside for our Earth Day jam where students lead the class in a rap or song using an #EarthDay poem for lyrics. π#MusicWithMissL2024

Our blacktop compositions on Tuesday were fun! 4th graders worked together in small groups to create a 4 measure rhythm composition, which they could perform however they wanted. Many chose to jump through their composition as they read the rhythms. #MusicWithMissL π @ccsd93
