And not at high speed rail speeds. Oh, and it cost over 50 million dollars for 1.7 miles. Elmo is lying through his teeth. Again. Disclaimer: Sadly, I'm an equity holder in The Boring Company. Or should I say bagholder, because Elmo has run it like shit and I've basically written off the investment as a loss at this point.

A JURY JUST FOUND ELON MUSK COMMITTED FRAUD A San Francisco jury ruled today that Musk intentionally misled Twitter shareholders to manipulate the stock price and buy the company cheaper than his $44 billion offer. 1/ Musk agreed to buy Twitter at $54.20 per share. Then he started tweeting that 20% or more of Twitter accounts were bots. Twitter's own CFO testified the real number was closer to 1%. Musk knew. He said it anyway. 2/ The tweets tanked Twitter's stock price. That was the point. Musk wanted to renegotiate the deal for less or walk away entirely. He used his 100M follower platform to manipulate the value of a company he was contractually obligated to buy. 3/ A jury of eight people just looked at the evidence and said this was fraud. Not alleged. Not accused. Found liable in federal court. 4/ This is the same man running DOGE. The same man with direct access to every federal database, payment system, and personnel file in the United States government. A jury just said he committed securities fraud and he still has the keys. 5/ Damages are expected in the billions. The exact number hasn't been calculated yet. But the verdict is in. The richest man on earth defrauded shareholders to get a better deal on a social media company and a federal jury just said so under oath. The man who lectures the world about government transparency was just found liable for lying to investors for profit.
