For those who don't know, The Boring Company built a hyperloop tunnel in Vegas that goes from the convention center to the Strip, and the "technological marvel" is *checks notes* a bunch of Tesla Model Y's driving through the tunnel. And not at high speed rail speeds. Oh, and it cost over 50 million dollars for 1.7 miles. Elmo is lying through his teeth. Again.
Disclaimer: Sadly, I'm an equity holder in The Boring Company. Or should I say bagholder, because Elmo has run it like shit and I've basically written off the investment as a loss at this point.
The
@BoringCompany could build a Hyperloop tunnel from downtown SF to downtown LA for <5% of this cost and it would be a technological marvel exceeding any high speed rail on Earth
