Good Luck Dunsy! Also departing the club following the conclusion of his contract is defender Aaron Dunsmore. Dunsy joined us in December 2024 from Wallyford Bluebell. Having trained with The Burgh for a few weeks he signed on the dotted line as we headed into a tough run of fixtures including our Scottish Cup 4th Round Away Day to Hamilton. Aaron has decided that the time has come for him to hang up his boots, he concludes a fantastic career in the Scottish leagues which saw him start out at Hibs as a youngster and go on to play for the likes of Edinburgh City, East Fife, Stirling Albion and Bonnyrigg Rose. Dunsy ends his career at his hometown club and we’d like to thank Aaron for all his efforts in a Burgh shirt, always reliable when called upon and a huge part of the squad of players who achieved so much over the past few seasons. There’s not many people can say they ended their football career having played 90 minutes on the Friday night and running a marathon on the Sunday! 💪🏻 All the best for the future Dunsy! 💙

We’d like to send our very best of wishes to Goalkeeper Liam McCathie as he leaves the club following the expiration of his contract. Liam leaves having made 39 appearances in between the sticks and picking up 12 clean sheets in the process. He has been an ever present member of the squad over the past two seasons and has pulled of a number of important saves and great performances in vital matches along the way. “The Cat” leaves as a League and League Cup winner as well as a promotion winner and his name will forever be etched in the Burgh history books. We wish Liam and wife Olivia all the very best for the future, our special wishes also go to them both for the imminent arrival of their first child who is due in September. Good Luck Liam! 🙌🏻💙

Following careful consideration from the MAFC Committee we have decided to increase the gate prices ahead of the new season. With the rising costs of everything we need to purchase to make a home game happen and the rise in costs across football in general we feel we are left with no choice but to increase our entrance fees. We can now confirm the new entrance prices and cost of season tickets for our upcoming season in the Lowland League East. Season Tickets: Adults - £155 Concession - £90 Youth (12-16) - £65 Pay at The Gate: Adults - £12 Concessions - £7 Youth (12-16) - £5 Your support was once again second to none all season long and we know this year will be no different, with new challenges ahead of us we’re going to need your backing right from the start so be sure to grab yourself a season ticket and join us on our Lowland League Journey! Every person that steps through the gate on a matchday helps push the boys on to success and it is appreciated by everyone at the club. Season tickets will be on sale at our AGM on Sunday 28th June as well as at our home pre-season friendlies which will be announced soon. #MonTheBurgh 💙

After 5 seasons and 170 appearances it is with a heavy heart that we announce the departure of Striker Jordan Smith from Musselburgh Athletic FC. A Burgh Legend forever etched in the history books as he leaves an EOS League and League Cup Winner as well as having played a huge part in this seasons team which secured promotion to The Lowland League East. We’d like to Thank Jo for all his efforts at the club, in particular for the 105 goals he’s scored and the many more he’s helped set up. So many of them proving to be vital in our success over the past few years. A real fan favourite that will be a huge miss around The Arena, we wish Jo all the very best in his new venture. 💙
