Urgent 🚨🚨🚨 Cova, an elderly Podenca went to the UK a month or so ago but sadly she’s struggling to settle. It looks like it could be some separation anxiety causing her to act up a bit. At GDS, Cova was a fairly easy girl but could get overexcited in the kennels during let out time. The rest of the time she was perfect on a lead, was a favourite for volunteers especially Sandy ☺️ & would play nicely with other dogs wonderfully in a peaceful environment. Cova spent a lot of time residing with Gramps, including in the Perrera and was a perfect partner to him. She does however prefer to be with people so an only dog home is also ok. Cova has started resource guarding a bit but again we didn’t see her doing this in the centre so we think it’s part of her acting up with her current anxiety. Cova is around 10yrs old and we really need you to share so we can look to move her. She’s currently in the Manchester area.
