Zimbabwe has been elected to the UN Security Council Africa group non-permanent seat by 182 votes out of 191. Africa is represented by 3 rotating, non-permanent seats with no veto power despite having over 1.4 billion people and more than a quarter of the UN membership.

The Iran war shall bring us to our knees. Zimbabwe's fuel price has gone up by 61c since the start of the war. Other SADC region countries have increased by margins of btwn 5 to 10 cents. It is surprising that Zambian fuel is cheaper yet some of their supply transits through Zim.
