A WHITE LION IS A PRODUCT OF FORBIDDEN RELATION
When you see a white lion, you'll appreciate the beauty. Sometimes, the racial inferiority complex in some makes them think it's superior or holy or pure. These are all far from the truth and I'll explain.
Before, when lion population was still thriving well in the wild, the population ratio of white lion to normal brown ones was pegged around 1 in 20,000. You can see how rare that is. Why?
When male lions reach 2-3 years, before they're sexually mature, they're ejected from the pride. One of the advantage of this is that it will not get the chance to mate with his sisters and mother. Even though the female cubs will remain in the pride, they mostly avoid mating with their fathers by going outside the pride to mate. Luckily for them and unluckily for the male, he will not even last long as the leader of the pride. In a pride led by more than one male, the females know to mate with another Male other than their father.
The summary of all these is that lions, other big cats and many animal avoid inbreeding, which we call incest in the human language as it is not good for genetics. All these I have explained is what happens in the wild, under normal conditions.
In captivity however, because there isn't choices, male lions can mate with their mothers, sisters or daughters. The resulting offsprings will have some genetic deficiencies. If the offsprings are also crossbred, their own offspring will even be worse and one observable feature you would see is lighter and lighter colour till you reach white.
This rarely happen in the wild. Even if a single lion is born from inbreeding in the wild, it will mate with another individual that's not related to it and they will cancel out the genetic anomaly in a few years.
So, every time you see a white lion, most especially in captivity, there's nothing majestic about it. They're the handiwork of wicked breeders who subjected them to continuous inbreeding. Many lions would have died as cubs before they will get one that will live. Even at that, a white lion is more prone to death and diseases than the coloured ones.
Tainkyu 😊
If you know the truth behind white lions like this, no human will ever call themselves a white lion
