Pride Month exists because LGBTQIA people spent generations being jailed, beaten, fired, disowned, denied marriage, denied healthcare, and treated like they were less than human simply for existing.
It’s not about “special rights.”
It’s about equal rights, dignity, safety, and the freedom to live openly without fear.
No one “chooses” a life that comes with bullying, discrimination, rejection, and violence just for attention. Pride exists because too many people still think hatred is morality.

Well, pre-race had me in tears. I was fine with the stories from the drivers about Kyle.
But then during pre-race ceremonies, Kyle's family came out. They didn't want to stay home when they'd usually be at the track, especially since it's the race in Charlotte, which js

So they came. His wife and teo kids, his parents, and his brother (and his brothers girlfriend). They were honored in front of the whole crowd with a moment of silence, a prayer, and the playing of Amazing Grace on bagpipes.
I didn't like him as a

driver because of that better than thought attitude he had on track. But he was an incredibly talented driver and, from all the stories and discussions I've seen and heard from those who were with him every race, he was one hell of a good man, friend, and father.

I look forward to the "greatest day in racing" (aka, the Sunday before Memorial day) all year.
This year though they moved the Monaco Grand Peix out teo weeks, so they aren't running it tomorrow.
