Good(ish) and bad news from our @Breathe_London air quality monitor in Finsbury Park for the past three months:
👍PM2.5 (particulate) has exceeded WHO limits on only five days (still five days too many!)
🤬 NO2 (nitrogen dioxide, caused by fossil fuels) looks much worse.

Another bad month for air pollution in Finsbury Park.
Our @Breathe_London air quality monitor recorded an average NO2 of 40.6 ug/m3, well above the WHO 24-hour limit of 25 ug/m3.
NO2 pollution is caused by fossil-fuelled vehicles.

Particulate matter (PM2.5) breached the WHO 24h limit on eight days in January 2023.
The worst times for local air pollution near our air quality monitor were Thursdays and Fridays after 6pm.
