I received my first shot of COVID-19 vaccine! In order for us to protect each other, we have to be vaccinated. Me being vaccinated means I protect not only myself, I protect my community, and I protect my family! I encourage you all to go get the vaccines as soon as possible.

I am disturbed by the findings of the @EquityEconomics report and how extensive the funding gap is. How can we improve the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people when there is a $4.4 billion funding deficit? bit.ly/3FwfAN5

The army is there at the communities' request and at the request of the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health organisations that are fighting hard to protect those communities and make sure that COVID-19 doesn't spread any further.
๐Ÿ“น Torres Strait Islander author Thomas Mayer shares a message about rumors of the army going into Aboriginal communities mistreating and forcing people to get vaccinated. "This is absolutely untrue. The army is there at the communities' request because they need that support."
