NAS EMBARKS ON SCHOOL RENOVATIONS AND LEARNING SUPPORT INITIATIVE IN MPAPE, FCT
As part of its unwavering commitment to humanistic ideals and in line with the NAS Street Child initiative, the National Association of Seadogs (NAS), through its Galleon Bay (Gwarinpa, Life Camp, Katampe, and Jabi – FCT) and Aqua Kanata (Eastern Canada) Decks, partnered with the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) to execute a transformative School Project Initiative at LEA Primary School, Mpape, Abuja.
The initiative focused on improving the learning environment through the renovation of classrooms, the school library, computer centre, and staff offices. These upgrades were designed to create a more conducive and inspiring space for teaching and learning.
In addition, the project restored the school’s borehole, ensuring access to clean and reliable water for both pupils and the surrounding community.
To further support academic development, the association distributed over 3,000 exercise books, along with stationery and other essential educational materials. School uniforms were also provided to pupils, to help promote a sense of pride, equality, and belonging.
Through this intervention, NAS has reinforced its commitment to education as a catalyst for empowerment - bringing renewed hope to the pupils of LEA Primary School and strengthening the foundation for their future success.
