ASWB has finally released demographic data for pass rates for their social work exams. The disparity in pass rates for people that have been historically oppressed particularly for Black test-takers is appalling. (1)

Help stop 2 anti-LGBTQIA bills from moving through the legislature this week. HB 8 (forced outing/censorship of LGBTQIA content in classrooms) may pass out of the Senate Ed Committee and Senate floor, and HB 183 (bathroom ban) may pass out of the House.

Governor DeWine has vetoed HB 68. This is the result of advocacy of trans folks and their families, providers, and advocates. Thank you all for taking action. Our advocacy action steps continue. Now we need to contact our Ohio legislators to urge them not to overturn the veto.
