Today is the 4th anniversary of @astro_timpeake's #Principia mission to the International Space Station.

Mentoring Monday. It's a while since I last posted, but the mentoring goes on. I find I get so much satisfaction from a good mentoring session, I wish I had started much earlier in my career.

Today I found out that NASA plans to launch a mission to deliberately knock an asteroid out of its orbit. This is a first step in the department of a planetary defense system apparently.
