The National Committee for the Administration of Gaza held a meeting in its temporary headquarter in Cairo with the Ambassador of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Sašo Podlipnik, and the Director of the ITF - Enhancing Human Security Organization, Mr. Tomaž Lovrenčič, to discuss a number of priority humanitarian and developmental files concerning the Gaza Strip. The meeting addressed mechanisms for implementing comprehensive rehabilitation programs for the wounded and injured, including the provision of prosthetic limbs and physical and psychological rehabilitation services, alongside capacity building for national healthcare personnel. The two sides also discussed the establishment of a specialized national center for the clearance of war remnants and unexploded ordnance, the decontamination of agricultural land, the recovery of martyrs’ remains, and the development of a forensic laboratory, with a focus on equipping and training the necessary human resources in the field of forensic science. The discussion further covered ways to strengthen social protection for orphans, widows, persons with disabilities, and elderly individuals who have lost their breadwinners, in addition to supporting the education sector, rehabilitating damaged schools, and developing vocational training programs and employment opportunities that contribute to economic recovery. عقدت اللجنة الوطنية لإدارة غزة اجتماعها الأسبوعي يوم الخميس، وكان على رأس جدول أعماله استعراض الإطار العام للسياسات المكانية لخطة الإغاثة والتعافي وإعادة الإعمار والتنمية المستدامة في قطاع غزة. قدّم مفوض الأراضي والإسكان شرحاً تفصيلياً لأهداف الخطة ومحاورها الرئيسية وآليات تنفيذها، وأعقبه نقاش موسع تناول الجوانب الفنية والتنموية، وسُبل ضمان انسجام الخطة مع أولويات الإغاثة والتعافي وإعادة الإعمار ومعايير التنمية المستدامة. وخلص الاجتماع إلى التوافق الداخلي على الإطار العام للسياسات ومكونات الخطة والمرجعيات المكانية لكامل قطاع غزة، تمهيداً لاستكمال الإجراءات التنفيذية التي تشمل إشراك القطاعين الأهلي والخاص وبيوت الخبرة، بما يكفل تخطيطاً مكانياً وطنياً تشاركياً يحقق المصلحة العامة. The National Committee for the Administration of Gaza - NCAG held its Thursday-weekly meeting. The primary agenda item was a review of the General Spatial Policy Framework for the Relief, Recovery, Reconstruction, and Sustainable Development Plan for the Gaza Strip. The Land and Housing Commissioner presented a detailed briefing on the Framework's objectives, main axes, and implementation mechanisms, followed by an extensive discussion addressing the technical and developmental aspects of the plan, and ways to ensure its alignment with relief, recovery, and reconstruction priorities and sustainable development standards. The meeting concluded an internal consensus on the general policy framework, the plan’s components, and the spatial references covering the entire Gaza Strip, in preparation for completing the implementation procedures. The National Committee for the Administration of Gaza chaired by @AliShaathNCAG received a high-level Italian delegation at its temporary headquarters in Cairo, comprising the Director for the Middle East at @ItalyMFA Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mr. Maurizio Greganti, Italy’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt Mr. Agostino Palese, the Consul General in Jerusalem Mr. Domenico Bellato, and Political Counsellor Mr. Tommaso Giarrizzo. The meeting addressed priority sectors for a potential Italian contribution, pending adequate security and political conditions, encompassing: humanitarian response, early recovery, governance support, and reconstruction. Both sides affirmed the importance of continued coordination and constructive dialogue, in a manner that contributes to stability and improves living conditions in the Gaza Strip.

Husem @NorwayAmbEgypt , and Denmark’s Ambassador Mr. Lars Bo Møller @DKAMBinEgypt , alongside a number of representatives from European diplomatic missions. The meeting addressed developments in the humanitarian and administrative situation in the Gaza Strip, the Committee’s ongoing efforts in the areas of relief, recovery, and reconstruction, as well as mechanisms for strengthening cooperation with international partners to support stability and improve living conditions for the population. Dr. Shaath affirmed during the meeting that the National Committee operates in accordance with a unified national vision aimed at serving the Palestinian people, alleviating their suffering, and creating the conditions necessary to restore normal life in the Gaza Strip. The discussions addressed a number of cooperation areas that had been previously examined in earlier joint meetings, including the medical evacuation of injured children, support for civil defense services, the reconstruction of destroyed schools, as well as avenues to support the Palestinian economy.
