We would like to express our deepest appreciation for every single individual who had a hand in this outcome. The fight for Jeffery to receive executive clemency continues, but tonight we can sigh a breath of relief.

Jeffery Lee was never sentenced to death by a jury. Instead, a judge disregarded the jury's sentence of life without parole and handed down a death sentence.
