Last week the North Carolina GlaxoSmithKline Foundation was notified of a tweet that captured our handle. The person identified is not and has never been associated with our Foundation. In any case we don't condone this type of behavior.
On Wednesday, GSK was notified of an incident involving an employee on a flight to Dallas. We immediately conducted an investigation and as of Thursday, he is no longer employed at GSK. The person’s behavior was reprehensible and does not reflect our company culture.

Have you walked down memory lane lately? The foundation's first grant in 1988 was to The Health Adventure in Asheville, NC, supporting community-based AIDS educational programming. We published our 1st A in 1988, as The Glaxo Foundation, Charles A. Sanders, MD was the Chairman.
