NCSLMA is still raising money to help our school libraries replace books that were lost or destroyed by Hurricane Helene. We don't want students to have to worry about paying for they had checked out that were lost or destroyed. We're so close to $10,000! Please help if you can!
Calling Library Leaders! Self nominations are now being accepted for our Secretary position and Regional Directors in Regions 1, 3, 6, and 8. You must be a current NCSLMA member to run for an office, and Regional Directors must work in the region for which they are a candidate.
Congratulations Angie Headley! You won 1st place & FREE conference registration for 2025. Congratulations Kristin Thompson & Brittany Jones. You've won free #ncslma membership for 2025. We'll reach out via email with instructions for claiming your prize!
Listening to @dlwstoryteller this morning hit hard. Her story helped validate my dissertation research and my conversations with my own 9 year old son ❤️❤️ Thank you Mrs. Washington & @NCSLMA
Don’t know how @NCSLMA could top yesterday but I am up and ready to find out! The keynote line up has been awesome & we get the books to go w/ them! #ncslma2024
@NCSLMA is one of my favorite conferences of the year. I am always so inspired by the creativity and brilliance of our amazing school librarians across the state of NC!! @CumbCoSchMedia#ncslma24
Being in community with @BespokeLib always feeds my soul. She gets it. And her practice is a beautiful model of librarianship built on the core values of JOY BELONGING in a way that can only be present when systems that cause harm are de-centered & Ss are humanized. #ncslma24
Walked away with some great takeaways from @LeadwithReading steeped in joyful literacy programming and practices. Can’t wait to try some out in our @NESlibrary 👍🏼📚💯 #NCSLMA24
