A great turnout of our regional emergency managers, tv/broadcast media, and NWS meteorologists for our annual Integrated Warning Team meeting today! A great discussion of radar basics, outdoor warning sirens, flood warning, and winter weather operations readiness.

NCTCOG EP and regional CERT members were able to attend the 2025 National CERT Conference held in Indianapolis, Indiana last week.  They had a great time training, networking, exercising, and learning new things to bring back to our region!

Yesterday at the North Central Texas EM Working Group we were able to recognize outgoing chair Shawna Lemley. Thank you for your regional leadership Shawna! Also welcome new EM chair Jarod Rosson (Rockwall County), another great regional meeting and lots of great work happening!
