FAITH FIRST: At Notre Dame Prep, faith forms the foundation of its educational experience.
There is a reason our mission speaks first about forming Christian people. From our youngest learners in Pre-K to our graduating seniors, faith formation is woven into every stage of a student's journey. Children begin by learning God's love through prayer, Scripture and hands-on catechesis. As they grow, they explore the sacraments, Church history, Catholic social teaching, moral decision-making and world religions, all while being encouraged to ask questions, seek truth and deepen their relationship with God.
Faith at NDP extends far beyond the classroom. Thanks to our Marist priests and campus ministry team, the NDP community celebrates Mass more than 100 times each school year. Students participate in retreats throughout their school experience, including the transformative Kairos retreat that many alumni describe as one of the most meaningful experiences of their lives. They put their faith into action through service, prayer and encounters that challenge them to live the Gospel with compassion, empathy and courage.
Our Catholic and Marist identity is not separate from academic excellence — it gives purpose to it. As our school strategic plan affirms, we remain joyfully committed to our mission of forming Christian people, upright citizens and academic scholars. Everything we do is rooted in helping students discover God's presence in their lives, grow in faith and become servant leaders prepared to make a difference in the world.
Faith first. Always.
