The FAFSA determines eligibility for both federal and state assistance such as Pell, MAP and Direct Loans. The 2025-2026 FAFSA is expected to open on or before Dec. 1 and opens in beta on Nov. 4 for NEIU students who sign up today, 10/28, via the Student Interest Form in Nmail.
