We can't stress enough how important your seed phrase is. Once another person has it, your account can be wiped out in seconds. Some wallets have a rather suspicious way of handling your info, and the latest #Solana hack exposed some sloppy practices.

Upon inspection, security experts found that mobile wallets were the ones predominantly affected. Users of wallets such as Phantom, Slope, and TrustWallet reported they had their funds drained.

Why aren’t current wallets secure enough? Digital assets are not owned by users. Instead, they are merely assigned to wallet addresses that users access. Ownership of an NFT cannot be proven if there are no systems in place for genuine identification and authentication.
