NES crews are working nonstop to restore power for everyone! Our safe Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) is 9 a.m. June 10, but many customers will see their lights come back on sooner. This ETR applies to all NES customers who are able to receive power. Restoration times depend on the number of damaged poles and downed wires, as well as the complexity of repairs. Weather, hidden damage, and even traffic can impact these timelines. Sometimes temporary outages are necessary so crews can safely restore service to neighboring areas. We prioritize repairs that help the most customers and critical facilities, such as hospitals, fire stations, and water treatment plants. Every NES customer matters, and our team won’t stop until everyone’s power is restored. Thank you for your patience and support!

#NESOutageAlert Our lineworkers have been working around the clock and have already restored electricity to more than 40,000 customers after a line of thunderstorms moved through the NES service area last night. For customers who are able to receive power but have an outage today because of the storm, we estimate all power will be restored by midnight tonight. *The safe ETOR reflects a conservative time for all customers who can accept power to be restored. Factors such as the number of damaged poles, downed wire, and the overall complexity of the damage are included in this estimation. While our crews bring years of experience to this work, restoration timelines may extend beyond initial estimates due to weather conditions, unforeseen or initially hidden damage, and even traffic. As crews repair sections of the line, temporary power outages may be necessary to ensure safe work conditions and to restore service to nearby areas. Always stay away from downed power lines. Treat all fallen wires as energized and extremely dangerous. Report them immediately to 9-1-1. We know being without power is difficult and we’ll continue to provide updates as we make more headway. Thank you for your patience!
