LeBron James has never been benched in the NBA Finals for poor performance. As the primary scorer and playmaker on every Finals team he has led, his coaches have consistently relied on him to play heavy minutes in the biggest moments. Any time LeBron spent on the bench during the Finals was due to routine rest, foul trouble, or minor injuriesβ€”not because he was ineffective. ➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀ Meanwhile, Michael Jordan was temporarily benched by Phil Jackson to begin the fourth quarter of Game 6 of the 1992 NBA Finals, while the Chicago Bulls trailed. ➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀➀ Jordan fans call him the undisputed GOAT, yet in one of the biggest games of his career, Phil Jackson trusted Scottie Pippen and four role players to lead the comeback. βœ… Jackson opened the fourth quarter with Pippen alongside Bobby Hansen and the Bulls' second unit. That group ignited a 14–2 run, erased the deficit, and shifted the momentum while Jordan watched from the bench. If LeBron had been sitting on the bench during a Finals comeback, we'd never hear the end of it. Context matters.

Jalen Brunson says Michael Jordan offered to autograph his jersey when he was 6, and he told MJ no "every away arena I got the home team's jersey, just something me and my mom did. so we go to DC, Jordan was on the Wizards, and I had Jordan's jersey on" "after the game I got to go see my dad in the locker room, went to the other locker room with one of their coaches, and I met Michael" "he's like, you want me to sign your jersey? I said no, you'll mess it up. I was dead serious" "I'm growing up in the NBA, seeing all these players all the time, taking it for granted. I had no signatures, nothing. I was like, I don't need signatures, I'm good. don't mess my jersey up, MJ"

I’m no NBA coach, but why is the 7-footer always 21-24 feet from the basket?

My son’s teacher just called and said I might have to pick him up from school today because he started a loud β€œKNICKS IN 4 !” chant followed by a β€œLETS GO KNICKS!” chant during class. I’m not sure if I should discipline him or be proud that he’s showing leadership qualities.

Great job Katy ISD. They are about to lead the way with limited open enrollment. Each school will be allowed to have 100 students that are not in their school district. More opportunities for students/student athletes. Best thing is they will motivate other districts to do the same.
