For geography classes @Gapminder is a great go to for lessons on a variety of topics. Makes stats accessible and visual for students (and teachers 😉)

Teaching a unit on the Tundra? This is a great polar bear tracker site. Choose a bear to track or follow them all. Engaging for students, helps to introduce ideas of conservation or impact of climate change on environment.

Successful PD today @StFXSOS. Lots of strategies for flexible, differentiated assessment. Grades can be uniquely formulated - doesn’t have to look the same for each student. Moving away from a “one-size-fits-all” approach. More formative assessment and feedback. Perfect for MTH1W
