🏖️Beach Report 6/17: All lifeguarded beaches are open today.
Water quality resamples were collected at all eleven locations listed below due to Monday’s exceedance, and all results are within the primary contact recreational standard

Advisories remain at these stations until additional sample results are back within standard. The next monitoring date for the environmental coastal monitoring stations is Tuesday, June 23 with results available, Wednesday, June 24.

🛩️There are no DEP coastal surveillance flights on Wednesdays. Wednesdays are scheduled for aircraft maintenance.

🛩️Today's coastal surveillance flight covered Barnegat Bay, Raritan Bay, and Sandy Hook before heading south along the coast to Little Egg Inlet. Observations indicate that the beaches and water are in good condition. 🐬Dolphins were observed off of Bradley Beach and Lavallette.

🛩️Today's coastal surveillance flight went south to Cape May, then north along the coast to Little Egg Inlet. Beach and water conditions appear good. Schools of fish were observed off of Wildwood Crest. Dolphins were observed off of Cape May point and Margate.

Additionally, a large pod of dolphins was spotted from the beach off Sandy Hook! 🐬

🏖️Beach Report 6/9: All lifeguarded beaches are open today except 2nd & JFK in North Wildwood, Cape May County is under a swimming advisory because yesterday’s recreational water quality sample result exceeded the primary contact recreational standard.

🛩️Sunday’s coastal surveillance flight covered Barnegat Bay, Raritan Bay, & Sandy Hook before heading south along the coast around Cape May Point then along the Delaware Bay. Beaches/water are in good condition. Dolphins observed off of Point Pleasant & Mantoloking.
