The best thing you can do for your kids is teach them how to be around adults. How to talk to people with confidence and genuine interest. I took my 15yo out to a work event last night and she had a conversation with everyone I introduced her to. It's life skills!

On the Tube a woman beside me told a woman (a stranger) there was a ladybug in her hair and got it. Neither knew what to do with it, so it crawled on her bag. At the next stop another woman, stranger, said "give it to me, I'm getting off and will place it outside. " My heart 🥹🐞

I love the Tube but today, between 10am-6pm, I've done:
East Finchley, Euston, Pimlico, Oxford Circus, (lunch in Soho), Tottenham Court Road, Whitechapel, Aldgate East, Embankment, and back to East. Finchley. That's a lot of Tubing 😫
