Europe’s past, present and future is about people.
Across generations, Europe is changing: people are ageing, moving, and our population is evolving.
Policies must keep pace.
Demographers and research networks like @PopulationEU and @EU_JRC help turn data into better long-term policies.
An official European Demography Day would create a regular moment to raise awareness of shared demographic challenges across Europe, supporting support better coordination and evidence-based policymaking at EU level.
