ALT Respiratory Virus Snapshot as of 5/17/2026 to 5/23/2026 displaying comparative statistics for COVID-19, Influenza, and RSV for the season which runs 9/28/25-5/23/26. Each virus section provides details including total cases this season, rate per 100,000 people, and total deaths this season. This timeframe had the following: 1 influenza hospitalizations resulting in a cumulative 509 total this season; 26 influenza deaths this season; no influenza subtypes were reported; 1.9% of all outpatient visits were due to influenza-like-illness (ILI); 2 COVID-19 hospitalizations resulting in a cumulative 120 total this season; 8 COVID-19 deaths this season; 0 cases of RSV resulting in a cumulative 1708 total this season and a weekly case rate of 0.0 per 100,000 people. The influenza subtyping data comes from data provided by the Nevada State Public Health Lab. ILI data is reported by sentinel providers.
