Our defense this winter depends first and foremost on air defense missiles. For the Patriots and NASAMS systems, we purchase the missiles primarily from the United States.
Here everything depends on PURL funding – the initiative through which we procure air defense systems from the United States. There are very responsible countries that understand the price of this protection and the price of life in Ukraine during winter. Above all, these are the Netherlands, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. These are the main contributions that have been made. These are the main countries that provided funding for this initiative, through which we purchase scarce items available only in the United States. We also have contributions from our friends – the Baltic states: Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia – as well as Belgium, Iceland, and Luxembourg.
We have begun discussions with these countries regarding a second round – a second stage of their contributions – because others are not that fast. Unfortunately. Therefore, at the moment, the situation depends on these states. Deliveries are ongoing. The United States has not blocked anything, and that is important.
