Using too much Hermes Agent by @NousResearch Spoils you. I just fired up Claude expecting it to remember the last thing we debugged and fixed only for it to start over. Hermes REMEBERS and BUILDS Skills as it learns new stuff.

The Hermes Agent x GLM-5-Turbo challenge:
Hermes Agent just reversed engeenerd AutoClaw. It's a clean Electron app with a local gateway running on port 18789 that proxies calls through their API.
The only catch for non-Chinese users is the login screen asking for a Chinese phone number. There's no API key option, no alternative auth, and no way to skip it.
Hermes Agent handled this in about 5 minutes of tinkering

The gateway started right up, WebSocket connected, and we had full operator access. No phone number, no account creation, no login screen at all.
GLM-5-Turbo is legitimately impressive, especially for agent-style tasks like this. It's fast, handles long chains well, and feels built for exactly these kinds of workflows.

This was purely for educational and research purposes — just tinkering to understand how these systems work under the hood, with zero ill intent or desire to bypass legitimate access controls long-term. The goal is better accessibility for builders everywhere through official channels.
Anyone else run into similar friction or want this kind of access opened up wider? Let me know what you think.
