Soil test alone cannot predict yield response. On average - it works, but precision is lacking. We concluded that we need not only more, but DIFFERENT data for more accurate and precise P management strategies.

Harold was a mentor and friend. I will greatly miss being able to sit down with him and learn. Tim said it well that he always knew someone you needed to meet. I also appreciate Stu bringing up Quentin, another amazing man and friend who we lost way to early. I miss them both.

New paper, looking at soil sampling in no-till for phosphorus. While the best sampling depth to determine if winter wheat would respond to P application was a 2-6" sampling depth (kicking off top 2") the 0-6" was still good. @vaughn_reed2
