The Sign & Sing program scheduled for this Friday, May 13 at 10:30 am has been rescheduled to Friday, May 20 at 10:30 am.

The Normal Public Library will be closed from 6-8 pm on Thursday, May 12 and from 9 am-1 pm on Friday, May 13 so our staff may attend visitation and funeral services for a longtime NPL staff member.

In November 2021, 10,880 people came through our doors. We registered 153 new patrons for library cards, and 51,935 items were checked out. Public computers were used 669 times. All in one month. #LibrariesAreEssential
