Met with the National Supermarkets Association today to talk real issues. Independent immigrant owned supermarkets keep our neighborhoods fed and working. Mamdani’s plan threatens them with heavy mandates.
As mayor I will stop big chains from squeezing out mom and pop shops, invest in a pilot that helps independent stores grow, and end one size fits all rules that make it harder to do business.
