It was a pleasure to speak with @SGBBarbour, @dfjonsson, and @_bradcuddy_ at #Bitcoin2026 about the importance of investing in energy to power compute. Incredibly sharp group! 💥 Spent yesterday at the University of Calgary with the 4th Year New Venture Finance undergrads. We dove deep into how @NewWestData is vertically integrating compute with stranded natural gas to profitably solve the industry’s energy gap. We covered capital structure, energy markets, and the realities of building off-grid digital infrastructure. The level of analytical thinking from this cohort was impressive. Great to see the next generation of finance leaders so engaged in the future of energy and compute convergence.
