Radar Update: A few isolated thunderstorms have developed across the northern Big Country. Isolated pockets of brief locally heavy rain may occur with these cells. Outside of these small cells, hot and dry conditions will continue this afternoon for most locations.

We are still tracking a cold front that brings a chance for rain and cooler conditions on Sunday and Monday. This relief from the heat is only temporary. Many locations can reach well into the triple digits by the end of next week. We have some location specific details below.

If you've been following our previous posts, you are likely aware of the high pressure sitting across the region today through the end of the work week. The heat will be the main concern this week as heat indices (what it feels like) rise to about 105 degrees at times.
