The latest seasonal drought outlook for June to September 2024 shows drought is expected to persist in areas of the Pacific Northwest where already present in Central Washington, the Olympic Peninsula, the Idaho Panhandle, and Western Montana. Drought is expected to expand in much of Washington; patches of central, southern and northeast Oregon; and eastern Idaho.
