It is beautifully illustrated with Lily’s own art. Lily Duval was a plenary speaker at our 2022 conference. The Entomological Society is proud to have supported this book.
Biocontrol of thistles is a great idea. We just need to make sure that our beetles don't like munching less prickly species better.

Dr Aola Richards was the first woman to be awarded a PhD in Biological Sciences in New Zealand, for which she studied cave wētā. She was a pioneer of entomology, both here in New Zealand and Australia, describing countless species during her lifetime. thepost.co.nz/nz-news/350209…
