Ichigo survived all that damage mainly because of his incredible durability as a Soul Reaper, not because of Blut Vene. ​You aren't supposed to take any damage through Blut Vene,it acts like impenetrable armor protecting the user from severe physical impacts, intense heat, and critical injuries. ​Ichigo’s Blut Vene is first overtly activated in the final arc during his first confrontation with Yhwach. Yhwach literally explains that Ichigo’s Quincy blood (inherited from his mother, Masaki) was completely dormant until his fight with Quilge Opie in Hueco Mundo. When Ichigo was trapped inside Quilge's "The Jail," he continuously blasted the cage from the inside. That struggle caused Quilge's intense Quincy Reiatsu to seep into Ichigo's body, essentially jump-starting his latent abilities and allowing his body to subconsciously trigger Blut Vene to save his life later against Yhwach.
