Renewals and identity are the oil and water of the digital landscape.
After the first renewal payment, what are you really paying for?
You’re paying for “a sense of ownership you don’t truly have”.
Alphabet is actually Google’s parent company. Using an authoritative name like abc•xyz is better than a .com because it makes their point without the need for COMmercial posturing. It literally signals the beginning, end and all that’s in between. The dot represents a bridge.
Blockchain is about what’s on the inside matching what’s “advertised” on the outside.
For example, if it’s named/marketed as “Free”, but carries costs (hidden or otherwise), it’s not Blockchain.
Blockchain is TRUTH - NOT MARKETING. It signals the real who, what, when and where.

💰RENTED AND RESTRICTED INTERNET
Many people don’t realize there’s a choice to be had and a battle ensuing. Those who’ve quietly made massive sums without educating the public feel decentralized ecosystems are a threat because they fuel knowledge.
🚩 THE PEOPLE should have the first and final say in what domains are worth - and which extensions get introduced to THE PUBLIC. Yet, they don’t. This is why the centralized naming system functions like it does - in the shadows telling folks short English .COM’s are the only way.
If THE PUBLIC is to TRULY benefit from better valuations, A CORPORATION should NOT drive the narrative alone. Of course large portfolio domainers have a vested interest in GoDaddy updating its appraisal system. Where do the interests of everyday registrants really come in here?
🧠 THINK ABOUT THIS: The biggest centralized domain registrar at the moment has domainers — their own portfolio rivals — literally calling them “Daddy.” Either it’s genius branding or the crack that breaks the system later. It may even expose the power imbalance of an industry.
Disagree. Domainers, especially veterans, do play some role in the public’s miseducation and blind trust. Every ‘voluntary’ use of GoDaddy’s services, marketplaces, landers and valuation tools is an endorsement of their practices. Domainers vote with their money, time and energy.
👀 To the domainers who say .brand TLDs are “trash” or a “lost cause”, tell that to @GoDaddy. They employ:
domains.registry.godaddy
🧠 This is a VERY logical thing to do. Their move reiterates that every TLD has a place. .GODADDY is their endeavor’s KING. More will follow suit.
In the digital realm, truth and accountability can be like water and oil for some people. This is what underscores delusion about how value translates from THEN into NOW. Some folks who benefitted from the last era want to believe their spoils and outlook will remain undisturbed.
💯 Agreed. For some people, that means the exchange of truth and accountability shortly thereafter.
👊 We all know how volatile, and thus abusive, people can be when THE TRUTH and THEIR TRUTH meet.
Beware of rental and ownership that’s being packaged together.
It’s like putting bread and eggs in a bag first - and then a gallon of milk.
Something won’t make it home - at least not whole. Same applies in the world of digital identity offerings.
Vibe-coded apps, websites and bots being promoted as "innovative" is purely diabolical.
Some folks are literally trying to sell you on a concept, make an exit and leave you holding on for dear life.
No matter how many times they use shiny things to promote,
DON'T FALL FOR IT.
To be frank, most centralized domain marketplaces don't reach full potential simply because their curation, and presentation, of digital offerings is sub-par at best.
Showcasing some 1-2 word .com domains with an AI-generated logo, gradient badges and a GPT description ain't it.
