We see that Val and Vel are disinterested in ~one~ of Vox's plans
That means his ideas don't interest them obviously
“Vox’s ideas don’t interest him.” is also something I see a lot.
Perhaps he wasn’t big on taking over heaven (which is a CRAZY feat anyway) but he still bothered to ask a VALID question which Vox brushed off. Despite disinterest, he still pays attention.

I think what annoys me the most about all the "Val and Vel don't actually like Vox" arguments is that it comes up the most in shipping discourse which is crazy to me cause like does Vox really need to be hated by Val and Vel and ditch them to end up with some other character?
