I mean, killing Amalthus is definitely doing something to prevent the extinction of titans...
It's a pretty important plot point how Amalthus mandate as the Pope is preventing new titans to be born causing wars for territory (yes, this Is a Sepultura referente) and resources
2 is about securing a future for humanity, people liken the titans dying to climate change but at no point in the story does anyone do anything to fix that, sorry but it's just not a commentary on anthropogenic climate change, it's a classic hero narrative

With the exception of Mary and Chaos, Anima in Xeno games has always been a "female aspect", I wonder if this focus on Anima and having Eleanor as the protagonist means that this game will be more skewed toward a more, idk how to put it better, "female-oriented" narrative
